astm a213 tp304 stainless steel seamless tube is manufactured by seamless process used in high pressure environment, stainless steel tp304 grade is the most used material due to its high strength and excellent corrosion resistance.
304 stainless steel is the most used grade, it is a typical 18/8 stainless steel in makeup of chromium and nickel, other alloy elements are added to improve its properties, overall this make 304 stainless steel is the popular material, 304l and 316h are expanded grades based on 304 stainless steel.
grade 304l, the low carbon version of 304, does not require post-weld annealing and so is extensively used in heavy gauge components (over about 6mm). grade 304h with its higher carbon content finds application at elevated temperatures. the austenitic structure also gives these grades excellent toughness, even down to cryogenic temperatures.
