3. Inspecting the shape of the butt weld seam of spiral steel pipes is a simple and widely applicable testing technique. It is an important aspect of finished product quality inspection, crucial for identifying defects and dimensional errors on the weld surface. Generally, testing is conducted using human eyes, relying on specialized tools such as specification models, instruments, and high magnification glasses. If there are defects on the welded surface, there will also be defects inside the weld.
