Main inspection items of industrial steel pipes

The following 8 aspects are the main inspection items of seamless steel pipes, precision steel pipes, precision drawn steel pipes, precision rolled steel pipes, and welded steel pipes:

1. Appearance size inspection: surface quality, wall thickness, outer diameter inspection, inner diameter inspection, concentricity inspection, surface smoothness and finish inspection, straightness inspection, etc.

2. Mechanical properties inspection: tensile test, tensile strength, impact test, bending test, compression test, shear test, breaking test, yield strength, elongation after fracture, peeling test, fatigue test, flattening test, etc.

3. Chemical composition analysis: C, Si, Mn, P, S, Cr, Ni, Cu, Mo, Ti, V, N, Al, etc.

4. Coating inspection: coating quality, zinc layer adhesion, uniformity, coating thickness, and corrosion resistance inspection.

5. Metallographic analysis: metallographic test, microstructure, macrostructure, grain size, non-metallic inclusions, energy spectrum analysis, etc.

6. Nondestructive testing: ultrasonic testing, ultrasonic welding, nondestructive testing, eddy current testing, etc.

7. Salt spray test.

8. Other testing items required by customer orders.
