The difference between the standard specification of spiral steel pipe and precision steel pipe
Date:2024-09-26
Spiral steel pipe is mainly used in tap water engineering, the petrochemical industry, the chemical industry, the power industry, agricultural irrigation, and urban construction. Spiral steel pipe is one of the 20 key products developed in my country.
For liquid transportation: water supply and drainage. For gas transportation: coal gas, steam, liquefied petroleum gas. For structure: as piling pipe, as a bridge; dock, road, building structure pipe, etc.
Spiral steel pipe is a spiral seam steel pipe made of strip steel coil as raw material, extruded at room temperature, and welded by an automatic double-wire double-sided submerged arc welding process. The spiral steel pipe feeds the strip steel into the welded pipe unit, and after multiple rollers rolling, the strip steel gradually rolls up to form a round tube blank with an open gap. The pressing amount of the extrusion roller is adjusted to control the weld gap to 1~3mm, and the two ends of the weld are flush.
Differences between spiral steel pipe and precision steel pipe
Spiral steel pipe can be divided into two categories according to the production method: spiral steel pipe and seam steel pipe, seam steel pipe is referred to as straight seam steel pipe. Spiral steel pipe can be divided into hot-rolled seamless pipe, cold-drawn pipe, precision steel pipe, hot-expanded pipe, cold-spun pipe, and extruded pipe according to the production method. Spiral steel pipe is made of high-quality carbon steel or alloy steel and can be hot-rolled or cold-rolled (drawn). The main feature of spiral steel pipe is that it has no welding seam and can withstand greater pressure.
The product can be a very rough cast or cold-drawn part. Welded steel pipes are divided into furnace-welded pipes, electrically welded (resistance welded) pipes, and automatic arc-welded pipes due to their different welding processes. They are divided into straight seam welded pipes and spiral welded pipes due to their different welding methods. They are divided into round welded pipes and special-shaped (square, flat, etc.) welded pipes due to their end shapes.
Welded steel pipes are made of steel plates rolled into a tube shape and welded by butt seams or spiral seams. In terms of manufacturing methods, they are divided into welded steel pipes for low-pressure fluid transportation, spiral seam electric welded steel pipes, direct rolled steel pipes, electric welded pipes, etc. Spiral steel pipes can be used for liquid and gas pressure pipelines and gas pipelines in various industries. Welded pipes can be used for water pipelines, gas pipelines, heating pipelines, electrical pipelines, etc.
Fine steel pipes are products that have appeared in recent years, mainly with strict tolerances and roughness for the inner hole and outer wall dimensions. Fine steel pipes are a kind of high-precision steel pipe material that has been treated by cold drawing or hot rolling. Due to the advantages of no oxide layer on the inner and outer walls of fine steel pipes, no leakage under high pressure, high precision, high brightness, no deformation after cold bending, and expansion, and no cracks after flattening, they are mainly used to produce products with pneumatic or hydraulic components, such as cylinders or oil cylinders.
